Paul Callender (class of 2019) has participated in television all around the school district, starting in his eighth grade year when he created commercials and gave the weather report on PDTV. Paul became a part of NPTV in his sophomore year and helped cover various events throughout his time. However, Paul never truly discovered his passion for television and media until he participated in the career study program in his senior year. Paul became an asset to helping create Mornings. From writing the script to directing, and occasionally anchoring, Paul was involved with every aspect of producing Mornings. Paul received three NATAS Primetime Emmys for his work: one for producing and anchoring on Mornings, one for producing and audio for Under the Helmet, a sports recap, and one for a news package he created highlighting the Boys Water Polo team's victory at the state championships. Paul will continue to study the field of communications at Messiah College, and he is very appreciative of all of the knowledge and resources he had at North Penn Television.
